DO IT FOR WILDLIFE

The Elephant EPIC is now in its 9th year, and was established as a mountain biking race, used to raise awareness and essential funds for wildlife conservation in Zambia. In 2020 all funds raised will support wildlife conservation through Game Rangers International and Conservation Lower Zambezi, to support the frontline rangers who risk their lives daily to save Zambia’s incredible wildlife.

2019 saw a record 186 cyclists complete the 75km rough terrain route to raise $17,000 for wildlife conservation through entry fees and generous sponsorships.

In 2020 the world has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and that is having a disastrous impact on our wildlife. As economies suffer there are less resources available to support wildlife at a time where there is in increasing peril, when people are becoming more desperate and poaching is on the rise. The Elephant EPIC’s fundraising mission is more critical than ever before and YOU CAN HELP by entering the Elephant EPIC 2020 - 75 Challenge.

This year the TRULY EPIC Award will be given to the EPIC individual who raises the most funds for wildlife conservation. The prize will be a Safari holiday in Zambia to include trips to Livingstone, Kafue National Park and the Lower Zambezi with behind the scenes experiences at the GRI elephant orphanage and CLZ Anti-poaching HQ on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. This is a once in a lifetime trip has been made possible with thanks to our generous sponsors. See Prizes for more details and check the 75 Challenge Leader Board to see who is making the most progress for wildlife.
