FUNDRAISE FOR GRI

LITTLE NDABA

Little Ndaba creates toys with a mission. Groups of women from Zambia gather to knit and crochet the orphaned elephants, and other animals, to help raise awareness and funding for conservation. The toys are made with 100% African cotton and provide a vital source of income for women who have limited opportunities to earn money.

WILDRIDE 2018

In ​July 2018, DSWF Education Advisor Andrew White, Mezzo Soprano Laura Wright, South African Cricketer Jacques Rudolf and rugby player Harry Rowland cycled 450km through Zambia to raise funds and awareness for GRI's Wildlife Rescue and Community Outreach Departments!

WILDRIDE 2018

In ​July 2018, DSWF Education Advisor Andrew White, Mezzo Soprano Laura Wright, South African Cricketer Jacques Rudolf and rugby player Harry Rowland cycled 450km through Zambia to raise funds and awareness for GRI's Wildlife Rescue and Community Outreach Departments!

ROLL OUT THE BARREL

During her volunteer placement with GRI in July 2016, Emma Waelput spent the day with the Community Outreach team distributing rolling water barrels to vulnerable community members. Back home in Belgium, Emma raised over $800 through a successful online appeal, allowing us to purchase 17 more barrels. 

THE LITTLE TRUNKS PROJECT

Former Media and Marketing Volunteer Candy Green established 'The Little Trunks Project' in support of GRI's Wildlife Rescue Department. A skilled artist, Candy coordinates art exhibitions in her home town Mandurah, Australia to raise funds for the elephant orphans.

THE SILVER TULIP

Lusaka based bespoke jewellery business 'The Silver Tulip' have designed two limited edition necklaces in support of GRI. 20 tumbled aquamarine pendants were sold worldwide to raise money for the Community Outreach's clean water projects and 30 silver elephant pendants have been created in support for the elephant orphans.
