Please be aware that your Business Visa will only be valid for 30 days and cannot be extended. Therefore, if you are planning to travel either side of your volunteer placement you will need to do so within this timeframe, or else leave the country and re-enter on a Tourist Visa. Please contact the Zambian Embassy in your home country for more information.

Research and Elephant Nursery Volunteers end their GRI experience in Lusaka. We highly recommend spending a few nights at Lilayi Lodge. Mr Bheki Banda +260 977774940 provides a trusted taxi service. Holistic Volunteers end their placement in Livingstone, where they will stay for one night at Victoria Falls Waterfront, in their Adventure Village which is included in the Holistic itinerary and cost. They then have the option of travelling back to Lusaka with the GRI Volunteer Team or continuing their journey independently!
