The Ranger RUN
This marks the first of our monthly social running club activities! Join us on the last Saturday of every month for a clearly marked nature trail experience. Clean-air, car-free, well-maintained running trails on your doorstep.
Saturday 27th July – Lusaka National Park
The Ranger RUN is a conservation-oriented sporting event incorporating running trails for a range of abilities, from an easy family-friendly 5km walk, through to a 21km run.
The Rangers will be competing in a 2.4km time trial carrying 5kg of weight! We will time the first 2.4km segment of your run and see how you fare against them!
The Ranger RUN will be facilitated through the GRI Wildlife Discovery Centre, where you and your family/spectators can enjoy elephant viewing, educational wildlife displays, kids activities and playground, with shopping at the COLLECTIVE and refreshments at the BUSH CAFÉ. Lusaka National Park is home to two White Rhino with Ranger-escorted viewing opportunities throughout the day.
