VISIT THE WILDLIFE DISCOVERY CENTRE
Step into the heart of Lusaka National Park and experience conservation in action at the Wildlife Discovery Centre. More than just a visitor’s centre, this is a place to learn, connect, and be inspired by Zambia’s incredible wildlife and the dedicated people working to protect it. Whether you’re exploring interactive exhibits, hearing the stories of rescued elephants, or joining one of our educational activities, every visit helps support vital conservation work.

Open daily between 09:00 and 15:00
Elephant viewing from 11:45 to 13:00 every day.
Internationals: $15/adults, $5/child (3-12yrs)
Residents: K100/adults, K50/child (3-12yrs)
Citizens: K50/adults, children free
Annual Membership: K300/adult, K150/child
Free parking is available in Lusaka National Park for all visitors to the Wildlife Discovery Centre.
All buildings have access ramps for ease of access for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
The Bush Café is open daily between 09:00 and 15:00, offering refreshments, freshly prepared meals, and hot and cold beverages
Wheelchair accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are available for both males and females.

Our tailored programmes welcome groups of up to 25 children, combining hands-on activities, interactive displays, and guided exploration to spark curiosity and deepen understanding of conservation.
Behind the Scenes Tours
Step into the daily life of wildlife care with our exclusive behind-the-scenes experience. Prepare specialised milk formula for rescued elephant calves, then journey into the bush to deliver this vital nourishment. Along the way, you’ll gain unique insights into their rehabilitation and the dedication of their incredible rangers.
Residential Experiences
Spend 24 hours in the heart of Kafue National Park and discover the magic of the wild after dark. Our residential camping experiences give children the chance to connect with nature like never before — from campfire learning and stargazing to guided activities exploring nocturnal animals and their hidden behaviours.
