"The opportunity to balance practical experience with academic studies has been incredibly rewarding. One aspect of the internship that has been particularly enriching is my involvement in a fascinating elephant trauma study. I've been actively collecting data and observing the elephants, which has allowed me to gain valuable insights into their behaviour and welfare. It's incredible to witness the impact of research in real time and contribute to such a meaningful project. The supportive environment and guidance from the team have played a crucial role in my seamless integration into the project. I feel fortunate to be part of such a dedicated and knowledgeable group of professionals. As I continue with my internship, I am eager to delve deeper into the study and contribute further to its success. I'm confident that the skills and knowledge I'm gaining will prove invaluable as I progress in my academic and professional journey."
