Every year, GRI hosts a variety of events to raise vital funds and awareness for wildlife conservation across Zambia.

Upcoming Events
The LUSAKA PARK RUN is a fun family friendly social run facilitated through the GRI Wildlife Discovery Centre, where you and your family/spectators can enjoy elephant viewing, educational wildlife displays, kids activities and playground, with shopping at the COLLECTIVE and refreshments at the BUSH CAFÉ. In addition to an array of antelope and bird species, Lusaka National Park is home to two White Rhino with Ranger escorted viewing opportunities throughout the day.

The Elephant EPIC is our flagship mountain bike race that takes riders through some of Zambia’s most spectacular wilderness landscapes. Designed to challenge endurance and resilience, the route combines rugged terrain, technical sections, and big skies, offering a true adventure ride. More than a race, Elephant EPIC is a conservation-driven event that raises funds and awareness for wildlife protection and community-led conservation efforts. Riders, supporters, and spectators all play a role in backing rangers on the frontline and helping safeguard Zambia’s iconic wildlife.
