Name a Baby Elephant

A once-in-a-generation opportunity to name a wild-born elephant calf

A miracle has unfolded in the heart of Kafue National Park.

Chamilandu - one of GRI’s first orphaned elephants to be fully released into the wild - has given birth to a healthy baby girl completely unassisted, in the wild, surrounded by both released and wild elephants. It’s an extraordinary milestone for elephant conservation, a living symbol of recovery after decades of poaching.

Now, you can become part of her story. For the first time ever, supporters have the chance to help choose the name of this historic calf.
