“A huge male lion poses perfectly on the plains of Masai Mara. Photographing any wild animal from such close quarters is always a very special experience. This particular lion had just finished feeding and was now far more annoyed by the flies than it was of me just a few metres away. Thankfully he looked up and straight into the lens long enough to make just one photograph
with perfect eye contact.
