“Towards the end of a 16-hour overnight stint in a wildlife hide my hopes were beginning to fade

when a couple of black rhino appeared. The last of the soft morning light was fading but was still

soft enough to sidelight these incredible animals from very close range. Just before disappearing

back into the bush, the wind dropped providing perfect reflections of the male raising his head

and finishing drinking. Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa.”
