Kids for Conservation
Your class or school can sponsor a Zambian school's special visit, and participate in our global Kids for Conservation programme alongside them with a full day's worth of conservation education
Help Provide Free Conservation Education to a Zambian School
Every day, we offer 20 primary school children from local, low-resource schools free, interactive and engaging educational experiences at our world-class Wildlife Discovery Centre, in the spectacular Lusaka National Park.
Accompanied by their teachers, the children receive transport, a hot meal and an entire day's worth of jam-packed conservation education activities including an exploratory walking safari hosted by our experienced Conservation Education Rangers, and a visit to our Elephant Nursery to observe the elephant calves tragically orphaned as a result of the ivory trade.
For just $300, your class can sponsor a Zambian school's special visit, and participate in our global Kids for Conservation programme alongside them with a full day's worth of conservation education content including:
-
2 x 45 minute lesson presentations
-
Interactive activities
-
Team games
-
Videos from real life conservationists working in Zambia
-
A profile of your sponsored school
-
Fun challenges to carry out in your community to raise awareness for conservation
-
A video link with the Zambian pupils at the end of the conservation day!
